We all know that scientific advances do not reach the most disadvantaged equally. If we cannot all access quality education, it will be difficult for us to evolve towards a more just society in which resources are distributed rationally and proportionally and in which the state of well-being is shared and enjoyed by all. I am optimistic in thinking that because good social or environmental practices can be “in fashion”, although companies initially make use of these trends to improve their image in front of the consumer with bottomless rhetoric, little by little, these Companies themselves will have to make use of solutions that really address the problems they claim to solve, internalizing them and becoming real social companies.

Indeed, there is always the possibility of new monopolies and in fact the large technology companies seem to be looking for this. at making technology a tool for social change. I think that by empowering civil society and actors such as non-profit entities we can achieve greater social impact and greater pressure on actors such as companies and governments to promote a more sustainable development model.
